Caring For Curly Kids Hair This Fall With CURLS Curly Q’s Hair Care System

Summer is over and you and your family is slowing down and getting into a regular routine.  Even your hair routine is on schedule, but just when you finally get it, guess what?  Fall is fast approaching and its time to make a change.  Here is how you can transition your child’s hair care regimen from summer hair care to fall hair care and style.

First, maintain your hair care regimen including your cleansing schedule, whether that is every week or every other week.  Simply make this small change, for fall hair care, add more conditioning washes to your regimen.  In between your cleansing sessions with a curly hair shampoo, give your curly cutie a conditioner rinse to change it up.  Use CURLS Curly Q’s Coconut Dream Conditioner for adding hydration to your little one’s tendrils and smooth the cuticle for ease of styling.

Further Moisture

This seasons styling needs more protection from the lack of moisture in the air.   After cleansing/conditioning and before styling, use a style primer like Moist Curls- Curls Moisturizer/Detangler to prepare your child’s hair for styling.  This procedure will ensure strong strands and protection throughout the season.

Finally, utilize fun accessories in your child’s hair this season like bows, barrettes, and scarves.  Headgear is the number one trend throughput the end of the year!  Have fun with it!

Ultimate Style

Remember to style your child’s hair this fall in protective styling, which includes concealing the ends from the environment.  Use the twist and tuck technique to give your child flair and sass while still protecting the hair from damage.  For exceptional care, use quality hair care products on the ends of the hair.  Try Curly Qs Mimosa Curly Q Elixir, an oil blend for sheen and hair conditioning.

Through protective styling and using excellent selections of products, your little one will seamlessly transition from summer to fall hair care!

Enhance Your Current Moisturizing Hair Care Regiment with a Moisturizing Refresher Course

You may have a moisturizing regiment that you have been working on perfecting for some time.  Maybe you have it perfected, but maybe you do not.  It doesn’t hurt to check in every once in a while to make sure your current plan has all that is takes to maintain consistent levels of moisture in your hair.

For starters, in order to maintain optimal moisture you need to look from start to finish.   Here are some areas to check in on your hair care regiment.

Cleanser
Check to be sure your curl cleanser is chocked full of moisturizing ingredients and is free from parabens, sulfates and other harsh cleansing detergents.

Conditioning

Check to be sure your conditioner has adequate slip, and essential moisturizing ingredients to fortify your strands for lasting hydration and strength.  Look for ingredients like Certified Organic Carrot Seed Oil, Certified Organic Horse Chestnut Extract and Sage Leaf Extract.

Deep Conditioning

Here is where you should thumb through with a fine toothcomb to see if your regiment is adequate.  What is in your deep treatment?  Check to see if you are using Certified Organic Curly Hair Products.  Your deep condition is the key to longer lasting hydration.  You should utilize a deep conditioner no less than once a month and no more than once a week based on the health of your hair.  CURLS Curl Ecstasy Hair Tea Deep Conditioner is an excellent selection with its Organic Aloe Leaf juice, Sunflower Seed Oil, Green Tea and Chamomile Extract for High Quality Hair Care.

Trim
Every two months a scheduled trim should take place.  When your ends are clean and clipped you lessen the risk for breakage.   You also help your cuticle remain closed and consistent when it matters the most.  Hair that is not often trimmed will have a more porous cuticle, allowing for moisture to escape the hair shaft.

Moisturizing

Lavish Curls Moisturizing spray is perfect for a shot of moisture to your thirsty strands when it needs it the most.  Very light and absorbing it is the perfect pre requisite to your styling methods.

Styling

When you use high quality hair care products, even your styler has moisturizing, protecting agents to protect the integrity of your hair.  Style your hair will minimal stress and ease back on the heat.  When you retire in for the night, take down your hairstyle, and style your hair into a pineapple to minimize stress on the edges of the hairline.

Diet

Your diet directly impacts the strength of hair that you are able to produce.  Each rich green leafy vegetables with lean protein often in your diet.  Fruit and grains are also important to a healthy lifestyle.

This holistic approach to hydrating hair care will allow you to consistently have plump, supple, elastic strands.  Assess how these tips can help you in your hair care regiment.  We hope we can help you meet your goals.

No Little Girl is Too Young to Wear Mini Twists in Her Hair Get Her Started With Curly Q Hairstyling Aids Now

The best thing for kinky or curly hair is a low manipulation, protective style that holds in moisture and does not pull and tug at the scalp.  Big or small twists can do just that for your little girl’s hair.  Twists are the perfect choice for hair care for little people because it does not hurt their little scalps.  It also allows the hair to be in its natural state while still looking neat and prepped for daily management.  I find this style to be very enjoyable to children as it doesn’t have to take very long and it is very easy to take down in preparation for another style.

Here are some tips for accomplishing a great set of twists for your little one.

Step 1- Twists hold the best on damp hair so be sure to wash your child’s hair in a moisture rich shampoo followed by the conditioner. Due to your child’s age, you will want to be extremely gentle with them during the process so that they will learn to love getting their hair done.  Pre-Detangle their hair with some water or coconut oil to loosen up the curls and make it easier to work with.   Use your shampoo at least two times and while conditioning, gently comb through the hair to remove tangles and prep the hair for styling.  After combing through a section, twist the hair in large twists to maintain control of the hair.

Step 2- Rinse the hair of the conditioner while the twists remain in your child’s hair.  No worries, the hair will still be cleansed.  The twists are to prevent severe tangling throughout the process.  Now you are ready to style.

Step 3- Untwist one section of the hair and begin with that section.  Spray the hair with a leave in conditioner spray and based on your child’s hair density, apply Curly Q Custard for thick hair or Curly Q Milkshake for fine curly hair. No need for parting with a comb, just grab the size twist you want split into two pieces of hair.  Twirl the two strands around each other and voila, you have twists!   If you need additional hold, use the Curly Q Gel -les’c as a finisher for all curl types.
I guarantee you and your child will love this style.
  ENJOY!
