Sealing Your Ends with a Botanical Leave-in Conditioner and Oil Could Be the Answer to your Dry Curls

A How-to Guide for sealing your ends will help you to Retain Moisture in your hair shaft using just what your hair needs; Organic Curly Hair Products.

As your hair dries, moisture is lost through the environment.  For extra dry climates, the atmosphere can pull hydration from all sources, including your hair.  For moist climates, your hair can pull moisture from the atmosphere.  Be aware of what climate you are in to know how to prepare your hair.  Dry hair could also be a result of your hair care techniques or lack thereof. Here is one technique to add to your arsenal: Sealing your ends after moisturizing, using Organic Curly Hair Products is a proven way to hold moisture.

Procedure:

1. Spray your hair with water or start with freshly washed hair.  CURLS Creamy Curl Cleanser, found in Walmart and Target Stores will give you a gentle, natural cleanse that will not dry or parch your curls.

2. Apply your favorite organic leave-in conditioner, moisture mist, or crème conditioner.  My favorite is CURLS Quenched Curls Moisturizer! The organic elements are gentle enough on my hair, have a healthy balance and allow me to re-moisturize as needed.

3. Choose an oil or butter-rich product to coat and seal your ends.  There is no reason to purchase “any old thing” when protecting your ends.  You can find an affordable, high quality hair oil to protect your priceless ends.  I use Champagne and Caviar Curl Elixir.  If I need a styler while sealing, my butter-rich styler is the CURLS Whipped Cream. For Fine Hair you can try the Curls Milkshake or medium hair; Curl Soufflé.

To Re-moisturize your hair:

Simply rinse with water or condition-wash your hair with a hydrating conditioning crème, then repeat the sealing procedure.  For a second day refreshing, you may simply rinse or conditioner-wash your hair ONLY IF you are using water-soluble organic curly hair products like CURLS.  Try Cashmere Curls, Lavish Curls or the 2nd Day Hair Refresher, which makes rehydrating fast and easy!
